That journey is worth it, though, as they're so full of life. The Miis clearly traveled a long way to return to their spotlight on Switch. Playing Miitopia on Switch is peculiar then, since the simple act of Mii creation is now buried several menus deep in system settings. Even in 2017, Miis still had a home on 3DS, but the Switch had largely shut the door.
Miitopia foregrounds them in a way that feels decidedly foreign today.
